Shopping in the Sønderborg-area

In Sønderborg you'll find the cosy walking street, Perlegade, which has a selection of shops and a café area at the ends. Right in the centre of the city, you will also not want to miss out on the large shopping centre, BORGEN, which has more than 50 small shops. Do you crave even more shopping, then take a walk towards the East and the street called Grundtvigs Allé in Sønderborg, where large warehouses await.
In the smaller cities surrounding Sønderborg, such as Gråsten, Augustenborg, Nordborg and Høruphav, there are also many small shops, where you can enjoy the intimate vibe and the friendly people. In Gråsten the Ulsnæs Center is for example worth a visit.
The shops are mostly open from 10 am to 5.30 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. The shops in the city centre are open until 2 pm on Saturdays (Sønderborg Handel). The opening hours of shopping malls and grocery stores may differ.
