
A day at the beach
The Sønderborg-area has many lovely beaches you can visit on the warm and sunny days. Have an eye on the children at all times and prevent the use of floating beach toys at offshore winds.
In addition to a mild and friendly climate without strong undercurrent, you will find many good beaches with high water quality in the Sønderborg area. Throughout the summer time, water samples is collected and assesses continuously at 24 beaches in Sønderborg Municipality and you will find the Blue Flag at no less than nine beaches.
Drejby Strand - Kerneland
Wonderful sand beach, situated in the southern part of the island Als in South Jutland.
Naturist swimming is allowed 200-300 metres to the left of the parking area.

Vemmingbund Strand
Vemmingbund is an old fishing settlement in the bottom at the bay opposite Dybbøl Banke. Today it is a lovely holiday resort with one of the best beaches in the area.
Alnor Strandpark
Alnor is a part of Gråsten, which lies by the Flensborg Fjord.
Alnor beach ist a cosy little beach, and behind the beach your have a little park with many old trees and a playground.
