All anglers from the age of 18 until and including 64 years must own a current fishing licence - whether you are fishing by the coast, see or connecting waters. The fishing license can be bought at the tourist office, at many camping sites (see the entire list here) and online www.fisketegn.dk.

The beaches are public area. Neither individuals or unions can therefore seize an entire beach or a larger area. Be respectful towards over anglers and keep your distance.
Be considerate towards the nature and do not litter. Respect private properties and the rules for minimum length and closed seasons. Protected or fish below minimum length must be released immediately when caught, whether they are alive, damaged or dead.
