Tourist information

Sønderborg municipality includes some of the most beautiful natural areas with a coastline of about 215 km and extensive forests, including the forest around Gråsten and Denmark's longest coastal forest on the east side of Als.

The municipality covers an area from Rinkenæs and Gråsten in the West to South Als and Kegnæs in the East with Nordborg in the North, Broager in the South and Augustenborg and Sønderborg in between. 76.000 inhabitants live here - and the local dialect is a challenge even for Danish tourists.

We hope that you will have a memorable holiday experience and we look forward to welcoming you!
