Beautiful Sea Trout
Along our coastline you will find a varying ocean floor where the many stones provide hiding places for the beautiful sea trout. In the dep waters of lakes, large pikes wait while being protected by plants and reeds.
20 Coastline fishingplaces
1. Kegnæs Ende (1+2): Park by the windmills. Angling is good in both directions.
2. Drejet (1+2+3): Left of the P-area is a sand bar. To the right, rocks make good hiding places.
3. Gammel Pøl (1+2+3): Left of the P-area, a sand bar stretches far out into the sea. To the right, the bottom is flat with sand, seaweed and large stones.
4. Mommark Harbour (1+4): Angle south of the harbour.
5. Voigt Strand (1+2): Angling is good to left or right. Sand bar increases in size towards Fynshav.
6. Fjordmosen (1+4): Angling is good in both directions. 7. Fladbæk (1+3+4): There is deep water right to the shore.
8. Tranerodde (1+3+4): A good reef with many mussel banks.
9. Havnbjerg Strand (1+2): Angling is good in both directions. The sand bar stretches along the coast.
10. Lønsømade (1+2+3): From P-area: Angle towards the north. Ahead of P-area: Large mussel bank with deep water close to the shore.
11. Stevning Næs (1+2+3): From the P-area, angle to the right around the point.
12. Arnkilsøre (1+2+3+4+5): Angle around the point where the water is deep right to the shore.
13. Alssundbroen (1+2): From the P-area under the bridge, angle to the right.
14. Snogebæk Hug (1): Walk from the P-area. Angling with waders.
15. Sottrup Storskov (1+3): From the P-area, walk 700 m. to the south. Deep water right to the shore.

16. Dybbøl Strand (1+2): A fine stretch beginning at Sønderborg harbour and stretching to the right.
17. Vemmingbund (1+2): Deep water right to the shore. Waders are necessary.
18. Borreshoved (1+2): Especially suitable for angling with waders.
19. Brunsnæs (1+4): Waders are necessary.
20. Rønshoved (1): Park by the water. Fine stretch with mussel banks and large stones.

Large Pikes ...are hiding in the deep lakes.
A. Nordborg Lake: Stock: Zander, perch, eel and pike. Carp as catch and release. License: Nordals Idrætscenter and Sønderborg Turistbureau. DKK: Per day 50,- / per week 250,- License for sea angling also required.
B. Ketting Nor: Stock: Perch, roach and eel. License: Sønderborg Turistbureau. DKK: Per day 50,- / per week 250,-. License for sea angling also required.
C. Lillehav: Park by the pond. Angle from the pond and along the north side of the cove, to the last three houses. Angling in the rest of the cove is not permitted. License for sea angling also required.
D. Fishing bridge at East Lake. Angling place suited for disabled anglers between Gråsten and Nederstjernen. Stock: Perch, roach and eel. License required only for sea angling.
Put & take
E. Egen Mølle Put & Take: On road nr. 405 between Ketting and Guderup. Beautiful brown trout may be caught here. License: At the red brick house, Nordborgvej 120.

Practical information:Anglers age 18 to 65 must have a fishing license for coast and sea angling. Licenses can be purchased at the tourist bureaus. Price 2010 per day DKK 35 / per week DKK 100 / per year DKK 140. All types of angling without a valid license including angling in harbours are illegal in Denmark. Offenders will be fined DKK 500 (approx. £ 50,-). All beaches are public and open to everyone. Neither lone anglers nor groups may claim a beach or a larger area. There are areas where trespassing is forbidden. Please respect “Private” signs.
